John’s has been in Boulder since 1987 and Fort Collins since 2001. We value the relationships we have built with our long time customers and look forward to building new relationships with our new customers.

Team Spirit -

Our people really do make the difference. They are the “best of the best”. We have over 200 years of combined experience. Our Technicians are all ASE Certified and receive ongoing training throughout the year. While we specialize in JEEP, SUV’s and 4x4’s we can perform maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles. We believe that the most important asset of our business is our employees and their ability to satisfy our customers’ automotive repair needs. Our promise to you is to uphold our standards to meet, or exceed, industry standards. We are committed to maintain a highly ethical and sound business practice to exceed our customers’ automotive needs.

We believe it is in our best and our customers’ best interests to provide all of the results found during any vehicle inspection, service or repair. By making this information available to you, our customer, you are better equipped to make the best decisions regarding your vehicles maintenance and repairs. We understand that your vehicle is a major investment and helping you maintain your vehicles safety, performance, and longevity are our primary concerns.

Facilities -

Our facilities are state of the art and we use only the best tools and equipment in the industry. We have over 11,500 square feet in Boulder and 9,500 in Ft Collins that we use to service and maintain our customers’ vehicles. We are constantly improving each of our facilities to be "greener" and more efficient. It is our desire to have top quality facilities so you can be assured of the cleanest possible environment for you and your vehicle.

Our showrooms carry the latest in off-road, 4x4, JEEP, Performance and SUV accessories. We carry over 200 different manufacturers products and are always looking for the newest and coolest products. We are adding items monthly so check back often. Our sales teams are in a constant state of learning and keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in the automotive industry.

Tools & Equipment -

We purchase and maintain the best hand tools and equipment in the industry. The majority of our hand tools are manufactured by Snap-On tools a leader in the automotive industry. We also use top quality alignment and tire mounting/balancing equipment from Hunter. Our hand held scanners (which we use to diagnise computer controlled vheicles) are some of the best in the industry and include names like Snap-On Modis, Ford NGS, Chysler DRB, OTC Genisis, and Vetronix Tech II. All of our equipment is maintained on a monthly basis and is updated when newer, more efficient technology is developed.

Management Software -

We use a software management program developed by Shopkey (another division of Snap-On) on all of our networked computer terminals. This program tracks your vehicles progress while in our facility and maintains your personal records according to your specific vehicle. It even tracks multiple vehicles owned by the same person or company. Along with the management program from Shopkey we also use their repair and estimating module. This module has all the information we need to help us in the maintenance and repair of your vehicle. It contains over 28 gigabits of information! In it we have access to all the TSB's (Technical Service Bulletins) that are published by the manufacturer for your specific vehicle. It also contains all of the maintenance guidelines that are printed in your owners manual. All of this information is updated quarterly. The entire Shopkey software package has become an integral part of our quality commitment to you. We now have acces and use the Original Equipment Manufacturer web sites to help with the latest information enabeling us to stay up to date with any vehicle. This has been a tremensious help in giving us an "edge" when it comes to repairing and maintaining your vehicle.

Internet -

Every computer terminal used by our staff has access to the Internet through our T-1 lines and their individual email account. Every day over 5000 pages of information is published in the automotive industry alone. The Internet plays an important role in helping us stay up to date with all of this information. We are also using the Internet to communicate with our vendors and customers. We have the ability to search for OEM parts and products unlike other repair facilities that use only aftermarket parts and products. This is just another way for us to provide a higher quality of service to our customers.

The list of our credentials is long and grows every year. We believe in every organization that we are affiliated with. Most of the certificates we hold do not come easy. In some cases only a handful of Service Centers hold these credentials. Here are the credentials we currently hold.

Warranty -

We take pride in our service to you; in turn all of our maintenance and repair work is backed by a nationwide coast-to-coast warranty. The work performed on your vehicle is covered by the nationwide Napa Peace of Mind limited warranty program for 12 months or 12,000 miles. John's 4x4 Center Inc. extends this limited warranty on 2000 and newer vehicle for an additional 2 years or 24,000 mile whichever comes first. Your warranty is good at over 10,000 NAPA AutoCare Centers nationwide.

Family -

We here at John’s 4x4 center believe in putting family first. Family is not a term we take lightly. We feel this helps create an environment where everyone counts, especially our families.
